Volvo China Open Threeballs Odds Won/Lost Bet
J. Morrison to beat R. Karlsson and X. Zhang @ 8 / 11
T. Olesen to beat J. Arnold and J. Choi @ 4 / 5
Bet Returns: @ 2 / 1

James Morrison - Robert Karlsson - Xinjun Zhang

James Morrison is 8/11 odds on to beat (Bet Victor) his playing partners Robert Karlsson and Xinjun Zhang in the first round and we simply cannot argue with that price. The Englishman has been starting tournaments very well as his last six appearances worldwide have seen him produce five opening rounds of 70 or better, with Morrison eventually tying 4th in Spain and 38th at the Shenzhen in his past two starts.

Morrison has a solid record in China as again he has gone sub-71 in each of his last three visits and that sort of form compares well when judged against the inexperienced Xinjun Zhang, who went 77-75 en route to missing the cut at the Shenzhen, and the ageing Robert Karlsson. The big Swede has missed four of five cuts during his limited outings since withdrawing from the Sanderson Farms last August and his opening two rounds of 76-77 last week would suggest he is some way off his best form still.
Tip #1: James Morrison to beat Robert Karlsson and Xinjun Zhang @ 8/11 with

Thorbjorn Olesen - Jamie Arnold - Jinho Choi

Thorbjorn Olesen is our next pick as he bids to secure a fifth top-20 for 2016 following his tie for 8th in China on Sunday. Olesen's length off the tee should stand him in good stead in Beijing this week and he can enhance a fine record in China, where he hasn't missed a cut in any of his last ten appearances.

In contrast, Jamie Arnold is short of match practice at the top level as the Australian makes his first appearance since withdrawing from the Yulongwan Yunnan Open at the back end of 2015 and he makes little appeal in this group, while South Korean Jinho Choi may have won the Promi Open this year but this is a big step up in class when teeing up alongside someone with the experience and talent of Olesen.
Tip #2: Thorbjorn Olesen to beat Jamie Arnold and Jinho Choi @ 4/5 with Bet Victor Bookmakers.
