There Is Nothing Bland About Tommy Fleetwood At The Turkish Airlines Open

2016 Turkish Airlines Open Betting Preview
The fourth edition of the Turkish Airlines Open takes place from Thursday and there is a chance for some of the so-called 'lesser lights' to shine as the likes of Rory McIlroy and Patrick Reed are skipping the tournament due to security fears. Their absence leaves the field looking decidedly weak but there is still plenty to look forward to as the event is being held at the Peter Thomson-designed Carya Golf Club in Antalya for the very first time as it takes on hosting duties from the Montgomerie Royal Maxx, which had hosted the three previous renewals of the Turkish Open...

The Leading Fancies
This is a venue where Bernd Wiesberger will be confident of getting back on track after his run of four successive top-seven finishes, which included two runner-up efforts, was halted by a tie for 35th in China. The Austrian is a 12/1 favourite but that price is plenty short enough for someone who has won just three times on the European Tour.
Andy Sullivan is next best in the betting at 16/1 as he bids to improve on his runner-up effort in Portugal and he could come into consideration if he can get his putter going, while Alfred Dunhill Links winner Tyrrell Hatton is also a 16/1 chance after he tied for 9th at the British Masters recently. Meanwhile, Anirban Lahiri (25/1) will bid to bounce back after blowing a lead at the CIMB Classic, where he eventually finished tied 3rd.
We fancy that this 7,186 yard course will be one for the strategists and tacticians in the field, with Tommy Fleetwood well worth a look. Fleetwood has been very impressive from tee-to-green of late and an exceptional run of consistency could be rewarded with a big win this week. The Englishman hasn't missed a cut since July, racking up six top-sixteens in eight starts in the process, including a tie for 4th at the British Masters recently, and he looks a very nice each-way price at 25/1 (Bet Victor).
Tip #1: Tommy Fleetwood (each way) @ 25/1 with Bet Victor.
Alexander Levy also tied for 4th at the British Masters recently and the European Open winner is another who is well worth consideration. Levy has finished in the top-20 in both of his previous trips to Turkey and we are going to take an each-way chance on him at 28/1.
Tip #2: Alexander Levy (each way) @ 28/1 with BetVictor.com.
Finally, Richard Bland tied for 16th in Turkey last year and, like Fleetwood, he is another player whose consistency could be rewarded when taking on a weaker field. Bland hasn't missed a cut since the start of July and he was on a run of six successive top-20 finishes prior to his tie for 30th in China last week. This course should be much more to his liking and he can build on his return of three top-five efforts from his last seven outings worldwide.
Tip #3: Richard Bland (each way) @ 33/1 with Bet Victor bookmakers.
