Zurich Classic of New Orleans Threeballs Treble

The prospect of Jason Day and Justin Rose teeing up at TPC Louisiana is genuinely exciting and we are looking forward to some quality threeballs at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on Thursday. We've picked out three matches to follow in the opening round and our threeballs treble returns a juicy 19/2 with Paddy Power.

Zurich Classic of New Orleans Threeballs Odds Won/Lost Bet
C. Howell III to beat D. Ernst and C. Collins @ 1 / 1
P. Kizzire to beat R. Pampling and L. Glover @ 5 / 4
J Lovemark to beat W. Wilcox and B. De Jonge @ 11 / 8
Treble Returns: @ 19 / 2

2.10pm - Charles Howell III - Derek Ernst - Chad Collins

Charles Howell III is an even-money shot to come out on top in his grouping with Derek Ernst and Chad Collins, and we reckon he is a shoe-in as the world number 90 has been making electric starts to tournament in the last six months. Howell's first round average from his last ten appearances worldwide is an impressive 67.60 and the ultra-consistent American has actually missed just one cut in his last 22 starts.

His return of seven top-25s from ten outings in 2016 is so impressive and such returns ensure he should have too much for Derek Ernst, who has missed the cut in six of his last eight tournament starts, and Chad Collins, who did recover from an opening 73 to tie 3rd in Texas last time out. Collins had missed the cut in four of his five starts prior to Texas though and it is hard to see him matching the consistency of Howell.
Tip #1: Charles Howell III to beat Derek Ernst and Chad Collins @ Evens with Paddy Power.

6.00pm - Patton Kizzire - Rod Pampling - Lucas Glover

Patton Kizzire's last thirteen starts on the PGA Tour have seen him produce an impressive first round scoring average of 69.23 and he is capable of building on his tie for 14th at the RBC Heritage. Kizzire's last appearance in Louisiana saw him open with successive rounds of 68 on the Web.com Tour last year and he will be relishing a return after being grouped with Lucas Glover, who has struggled for form all year, and Rod Pampling, who has missed the cut in three of his last four outings on the PGA Tour.
Tip #2: Patton Kizzire to beat Lucas Glover and Rod Pampling @ 5/4 with PaddyPower.com.

6.20pm - Jamie Lovemark - Will Wilcox - Brendon De Jonge

Jamie Lovemark is another player who has been making electric starts to tournaments this year as his first round average from his last 14 outings is 69.36. He has racked up five top-20s already this year and despite struggling at TPC Louisiana (2012 and 2014), he returns as a better, more rounded player this time. He is capable of overcoming Will Wilcox, who hasn't quite built on last year's promise, and Brendon De Jonge, who hasn't made the weekend in eight of his eleven tournament starts this year.
Tip #3: Jamie Lovemark to beat Will Wilcox and Brendon De Jonge @ 11/8 with Paddy Power bookmakers.
