US PGA Threeballs Treble

The 2016 US PGA Championship gets underway at Baltusrol in New Jersey on Thursday and this intimidating course is sure to test the very best in the world. Accuracy off the tee is very much the order of the day on a track that saw 2005 champion Phil Mickelson finish with a total score of -4 when the major was last played here eleven years ago and we've got three selections for our 10/1 threeballs treble on the opening day...

US PGA Threeballs Treble Odds Won/Lost Bet
Jason Bohn to beat Wang and Gaffney @ 5 / 4
KJ Choi to beat Curran and Sharp @ 11 / 10
Soren Kjeldsen to beat Hend and Hurley @ 13 / 10
Treble Returns: @ 10 / 1

12.10pm - Jason Bohn - Jeunghun Wang - Brian Gaffney
Threeballs Odds:

Jason Bohn looks to be a worthy favourite for his opening threeball on Thursday as a man who ranks 9th for driving accuracy percentage on the PGA Tour this year looks to have the better of his opponents. Bohn has been in decent form of late as he has opened with a score of 70 or better in three of his last four outings and his first round scoring average for the year is 70.94.

Jeunghun Wang's form has cooled since winning the Trophee Hassan II and Mauritius Open back-to-back earlier this year and he has missed the cut in three of his last four starts, while there is plenty of pressure on Brian Gaffney this week. The experience of Bohn should pay out.
Tip #1: Jason Bohn to win his threeballs @ 5/4 with Bet 365.

12.10pm - KJ Choi - Jon Curran - Tommy Sharp
Threeballs Odds:

KJ Choi is another player who is so accurate off the tee (he ranks 23rd for driving accuracy on the PGA Tour this season) and the way he closed the Canadian Open with a 67 should fill him with confidence. The South Korean has previous experience at Baltusrol as he tied 40th here in 2005 and he has a decent record at the US PGA, finishing in the top-fifteen on three occasions.

Choi, who has a first round scoring average of 70.84 this term, comes up against Memorial runner-up Jon Curran, who missed the cut in Canada after opening with a 75, and qualifier Tommy Sharp of Utah. Again, experience will count for plenty here.
Tip #2: KJ Choi to win his threeball @ 11/10 with B365.

1.10pm - Soren Kjeldsen - Scott Hend - Billy Hurley
Threeballs Odds:

Finally, it has been wonderful to see Soren Kjeldsen producing the goods at the highest level again this season and he picked up another top-ten at the Open Championship, with the Dane ranking 3rd for driving accuracy at Royal Troon. Baltusrol should be a good fit for a player who has picked up eight top-25 finishes this year and his ultra-consistent style should ensure he has the edge over the big-hitting but erratic Scott Hend and Quicken Loans winner Billy Hurley.
Tip #3: Soren Kjeldsen to win his threeball @ 13/10 with
